A Personal Note . . .
Clark . . . "Christianity and church have been an adventure for me. My parents took me to church when I was growing up and I even joined the church after going through membership classes. But there was a problem. I only knew about God intellectually and I had no personal connection with him through Jesus. After years of poor choices, I finally came to understand my need for forgiveness when I was a law student. Because of what Jesus did on the cross, God forgave me when I reached out to him. My life changed forever. I practiced law for over 20 years and when I had a chance to go to seminary, I did. Starting The Church At Westerly and watching people's lives change has been the most wonderful experience of my life. The journey continues . . . ."

For all of you who know us and pray for us, I say, "Thank You!" You mean so much to us. My parents took me to church also. As I learned more about Jesus I wanted to love Him. Because I was the youngest of three sisters, I knew the others had already made a personal choice to accept Jesus into their hearts. I knew also that as adults, my parents had chosen to follow Jesus. At home and at church, I was learning a lot about what it means to be a Christian. I understood that there were two places people could go when they die: Heaven or hell. That knowledge was what God used in my life to lead me to ask Jesus into my heart. I wanted to go to Heaven. As I knelt down with my parents in my home, I put my faith in God and He forgave me forever. Jesus became my Lord and Savior. I knew for sure that when I die I will be in Heaven with Him. I knew that He loved me and forgave me. This is the offer of forgiveness that Jesus makes to everyone who comes to Him in faith and belief. Click Here to find more about real life in Jesus.
