Praying With The Church At Westerly
1. Pray for the weekly worship services held at the Tower Street Community Center on Sunday at 10:00 AM (Eastern). Ask God to open the hearts of everyone there and for many to make a personal commitment to Jesus. Pray that the children's ministry will grow in its impact. 2. A neighborhood group meets on Fridays at 6:00 PM at 42 Edgewood Ave. in Westerly. Ask God to use the study of the Bible to encourage and deepen spiritual commitment to Jesus. Pray for those who are exploring what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus.
3. On Tuesday nights, a group gathers in the community room of Merchants Village in Westerly to worship. There is prayer, singing and Bible study. Ask God to use this time to bring hope and encouragement to the people. Ask God to help them to grow in the knowledge of his Word and in spiritual maturity.
4. On Wednesday nights a group meets to study the Bible. Pray that God will open the hearts and minds of the group to a deeper understanding of the power and purpose of God's Word.
5. Ask God to bring spiritual awakening Westerly. Pray that He does it in such a way that everyone will sense His presence and His work. Ask God to protect the followers of Christ with peace and joy.
6. Pray that The Church At Westerly will be obedient in its calling to proclaim the Good News of Jesus, minister to the community, build up the fellowship, and plant churches. Ask God to provide abundant resources for this work to be accomplished.
